Our Future
You may have seen this page when we first launched, and our plans look a little different than they did before. See what we’re charting for our first year.
Our Programming
With the success of our first performance, something clicked. Producing mid-sized, accessible cabarets with plenty of polish will allow GTC to cement best practices, cost analysis, and serve as a natural jumping off point for future productions.
Producing cabarets also allows us greater control over our performances structurally and creatively as we hone our artistic identity, giving our performances a unique GTC stamp.
As a young company, we want our programming to grow in scale and depth with each new show. We will explore, test, and shape the kind of theatre we want to share and the theatre you want to see - and we’re excited to have you on this journey with us.
Fundraising and Growth
GTC is fueled by the generosity of our closest supporters. Every dollar raised helps us serve our mission by supporting artists, ensuring excellent quality of the work on our stages, and giving us the runway to grow.
Milestones & Goals
Reach $15,000 in total fundraising by December 2026.
Secure anchor donors to build a reserve fund for our second year.
Achieve 501(c)(3) nonprofit status by mid-2026 for grant eligibility and tax benefits.
Every contribution, large or small, directly sustains artists and builds the future of Glendenning Theatre Company.
“Well how are you gonna pull that off?”
Cabarets
Cabaret performances (like our inaugural cabaret) offer a balanced producing model that allows us to do more original work at a profit.
GTC Gala
We plan for an annual summer gala to anchor each season, a celebration of our hard work alongside our community that helps fund the years ahead.
Year-Long Support
Everything is made possible through the generosity of patrons who believe in us. We are proud to count on and invest in our community.
